Media and Research Requests/Enquiries

Media Enquires

Ngā Tāngata Tiaki receives a significant number of requests from people and entities wanting to do something on Te Awa Tupua and the legal status that has been accorded to the Whanganui River.

In most instances the requests are good ideas the requestor has come up with or a need they have to fulfill for a project that they have, a story or a conference.

Te Awa Tupua is relational and values reciprocity, it is not merely for you to come to us to take our information and go away again.

Ngā Tāngata Tiaki is particularly interested in supporting other indigenous people.  In general most of the information you may need is probably already available in the public domain search; Te Awa Tupua o Whanganui, have a look on our website under important documents where there are articles and video's.
