Capital Expenditure (Capex) Grant

Te Mana o Te Awa Capital Expenditure (Capex) Grant

The Capital Expenditure (Capex) Grant has been created to support whānau, hapū and/or Marae with Capital purchases for kaupapa that aligns to Te Rautaki o Te Whawhaki to help cover essential items and equipment – from Tira Hoe safety gear, to equipping our Wharekai to help cater to the multitudes to manicuring our Marae Ātea.

For successful recipients, the grant will be paid on a dollar for dollar basis up to $3,000 noting that you will be responsible for payment of 50% of the goods/items.  The grant will be paid directly to the supplier upon receiving confirmation of payment.

The Capex grant is available annually in September and for a short period of time with a limited number of grants available.  Successful recipients can only apply once every three years, this ensures the grant is accessible to all.
